Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
This is something I've quoted to a number of my friends over the last week, saying I seem to be a living example of Murphy's law. Every time I try to change things up, try to move forward, life just goes "LOL NO" and kicks me in the teeth again. If this keeps up I'll need dentures.
Because of all the bullshit that's been happening to me, the journals I write about lately have mostly been about bad news. This one is a little different in that it'll have some good news to go with the bad.
The first bit of bad news is, about two weeks ago I ended up in the hospital for mental health reasons, and after that I was admitted to a crisis center for treatment. The good part of that is that I did get treated and I'm medicated now, so I'm doing a lot better in that area of my life.
The second bit of bad news is, the day after I got discharged from the crisis center, I found out that I wouldn't be able to stay with Vix and Zainin anymore. The building owners found out I was there (we think a neighbor told them) and said I had a week to vacate. Better news is I managed to snag a bed at a homeless shelter.
More bad news: My PC is entirely dead. I now need an all-new machine. But, y'know, first I need a home, so yeah. Last bit of good news is that I got a call back from a job I applied for. I have to call them back in the morning and I'm assuming they want to set up an interview, so hopefully that goes well. If I get this job I can afford to get my own place after a month or two.
All things considered, I'm doing okay right now. The meds I'm on help with my mood, so I'm better able to handle all the shit being flung my way, so I think in the end I'll be okay.
It should go without saying that right now commissions are closed, considering I'm restricted to time-limited public library computers and the Android tablet Zainin gave to me. I'd like to resume commissions/art posting/etc. as soon as possible though, so we'll see what happens. Also, because people have asked me about it before, yes, I'd be willing to accept donations right now, though I don't expect them. If anyone does want to help me out that way, donations can be sent to KattoTang@live.com via Paypal.
Thanks for reading, everyone.
